American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 12:30โ8:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Azucar Ice at (336) 254-3137; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 69 reviews, which is a strong result for a dessert shop in Greensboro and suggests consistent service.
Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Greensboro is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Had an awful experience. Customer service was terrible. The lady with the glasses acted as though she was clueless when asked questions. She gave off energy as though we were bothering her. I left out because I had to walk a beverage I ordered to someone at one of the nearby shops. I came back in to use the restroom and she told me it was for paying customers only. I reminded her I was just there and of all the items I just purchased. She told me once I walk out, im no longer a customer. Wow. If thats what you call customer service, I would never recommend this place.

It is a place that has delicious things, but this time I didn't like it, the way they sold my esquite tasted spoiled and the corn was canned corn, I'm sorry but it was an unpleasant taste, or if they prepare it with canned corn let us know, so we are aware that we were warned

My favorite is their soursop and mango boba smoothie! I come here every single day after work and try out new smoothies and other drinks. I love this place!

Edit: There is actually nothing to edit except MORE good things!! The owner, Cory, has switched things up a bit and now sells things like chocolate flan cake too, and some boba drinks! I went for the very first time today and WOW! I will be back often! The staff was quick and friendly and I got, of course, a mangonada. It was DELICIOUS! I plan to get a tamarinada next time I go. I was nervous it was going to be too sweet or too sugary, but it was perfect! There is also plenty of inside seating and a good bathroom.
